Update on the Forest Park Pool. on January 30, 2013

We stopped by the Forest Park Pool to check on construction progress and, as you can see from the photos, work is well underway!  In just a few short months it will be May and a restored version of this 90-year-old community treasure will be back in business.  I am so proud of the citizen

 

Fort Worth Public Art Collection Will Soon Include “Tabbachin Ribbon” Downtown on October 09, 2012

Tonight the Council accepted the donation of Mexican artist Yvonne Domenge ‘s work “Tabbachin Ribbon”, wwich is currently on display in Chicago’s Millennium Park, for permanent inclusion in Fort Worth’s Public Art Collection and to be displayed north of City Hall in front of the Municipal Courts Building. I have worked with FWPA for nearly a year supporting
